Eaton Press Release

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. … Golf Pride, a division of diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton, announced today that it recently moved its 28-year-old Golf Pride Manufacturing Operations in Taiwan to a new state-of-the-art facility in Guan Miao, Taiwan. The move was successfully completed without interruptions to customer delivery times. To celebrate the move and showcase the capabilities of the new facility, Golf Pride held a plant opening ceremony, hosting customers and suppliers from around the world.

The new facility is the result of a four-year expansion project. The newly-expanded facility is considered to be the largest and most advanced grip manufacturing plant in the world. Along with manufacturing operations, the location is also home to research and development, sales and marketing and customer service teams.

“With this new facility, we saw an opportunity to bring suppliers and customers together in a positive way, allowing us to demonstrate why Golf Pride is the clear leader in golf grips,” said Jamie Ledford, Golf Pride’s general manager. “We used this occasion to talk about the power of Eaton that’s behind Golf Pride and the work we are doing to make sure we sustain our leadership position. The reception was quite positive.”

Eaton’s Golf Grip Division is the world’s largest manufacturer of golf grips, with manufacturing, sales and distribution facilities on five continents.
