Job Description
The Golf Pride Director of Global Operations is responsible for all aspects of manufacturing and delivery to our customers. This role is directly responsible for all supplier relationships and all manufacturing operations in our two Eaton-owned plants in Thailand and Taiwan. This role is also directly responsible for all inventory management and order fulfillment through our global distribution centers in the US, UK, and eventually in APAC. In addition to the day to day operations and delivery, this position is also responsible for developing and executing on a long term operations strategy that ensures that Golf Pride will always be a step ahead of its competition and in a position to more effectively deliver against our customer needs. The role is based in the US (Southern Pines, NC) close to our most important customers in the golf business, but the role will require significant travel to Asia to maintain close contact with our plants. This position reports directly to the Golf Pride GM and is the senior most operations leader on the Golf Pride team.


Basic Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree from an accredited institution
  • 10+ years of cross discipline operations combined experience in: Mfg, SCM, Logistics
  • 5+ years of experience leading global teams with specific experience in APAC
  • 5+ years of consumer products experience
  • Must be able to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Operations focused area
  • 5 years of experience working internationally and across cultures time spent living abroad is plus)
  • Proficiency in a foreign language such as Thai or Mandarin

  • Demonstrated success in change management leadership
  • An understanding of manufacturing methods and quality control
  • Thorough technical understanding and demonstrated leadership competencies in an advanced engineering field related to fluid mechanics, stress analysis, and/or hydraulic system engineering
