Golf Pride is currently seeking an Employee Experience Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Pinehurst, NC location. Relocation assistance will be provided.

Position Overview:

The Employee Experience Manager supports the growth strategy within Golf Pride by ensuring a high-quality, diverse, sustainable pipeline of talent to meet current and future business needs and supporting culture building activities that bring the best out of all our talent.  The primary responsibility is to ensure an optimal employee experience from the time a prospective team member is scouring the market until their final day with the business.  This role will achieve this through partnering with stakeholders to develop and execute talent strategies to drive short and long-term talent requirements as well as set the bar for a premier talent experience.

This position will be responsible for the design and management of global functional excellence programs within Golf Pride. This position is responsible for not only understanding, but trailblazing the employee experience.  This will be achieved through evaluation of employee expectations, identifying internal and external trends, and formalizing the talent management processes and system globally.

A key member in unifying our teams and expectations, this role will manage HR functional excellence in driving brand wide programs, processes, communications and analytics, as well as global consistency through standardization. Provide guidance and support for the global innovation center (GIC) team which supports approximately 1,100 employees globally.

This position marks a key role to be filled within human resources team as we continue to build out our employer brand and evolve our culture.  This also drives sustainability in our talent base to support growth. This is achieved by internal customers as the focal point to create and maintain a premium employee experience driven culture and a globally consistent talent management system.

In this function you will:

  • Culture Building – Develop, maintain and execute a calendar of local GIC and global employee engagement events that shape the internal culture to support our innovation and growth initiatives.  Work with HR coordinators in the plants to globalize culture building efforts.
  • Talent Management System Creation and Implementation – Lead discussions with division stakeholders to gain input or to inform. Create program strategies in alignment with short and long-term talent requirements of the business.
  • Recruiting – Deploy a Golf Pride talent acquisition strategy to support current and future business needs. Establish baseline measures and drive improvement.
  • Selection and Development –Drive next level talent caliber conversations and actions.  Develop our teams to initiate and contribute to these discussions.
  • Employee Experience – Work with stakeholders to define and ensure a premier employee experience from posting to post-employment feedback.
  • Coaching – Provide a framework of resources for talent including coaching and feedback on current skills, strengths, development need for their current role, as well as building future capabilities. Coach leaders on strong goal setting, expectation setting, conducting performance reviews, and on-going performance feedback to participants.
  • Continuous Improvement – Using the STAR model, identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the programs while monitoring leading and lagging.  Identify and implement solutions.
  • Budget – provide financial estimates related to the program for profit plan cycle; update and maintain an accurate forecast.
  • Influence and Collaboration – steward for driving cross-functional team cohesion
  • HR Programs:  Develop, implement, and lead HR projects and programs for the division, including, but not limited to: OAD, EBE, OCA, training initiatives, FutureReady, LeaderX communications, employee survey, merit planning, AAP, I&D initiatives, community involvement, etc. Responsible for utilizing internal and external technical HR information systems and resources to effectively develop, implement and maintain HR projects and metrics systems as well as manage analytics for the division.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of increasing responsibility in a progressive HR environment; prior consumer focused experience required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and/or HR certification
  • Experience working with decentralized workforces.
  • Ability to recruit, assess & select top talent and coach talent.
  • Effective relationship building and interacting across the entire organization
  • Influencer and developer of talent
  • Ability to maintain the integrity of programs while managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to create processes, review metrics and measure on-going review of processes for continuous improvement.

Position Criteria:

  • Experience and proficiency performing advanced analytics in Excel and other tools and translating information into presentations and other communication channels.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant local/state/federal employment laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to develop business partnership across diverse groups and functions. Business writing expertise.
  • Strong drive for results and sense of urgency; data and metrics driven.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Commitment to employee engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Great organizational skills and demonstrated ability to get results.
  • Ability to work in a decentralized environment and leverage resources as needed.
