Golf Pride is currently seeking a Global Sales Manager – OEM to join our team. This position is based at our Pinehurst, NC location OR from a home office in Carlsbad, CA. Relocation will be provided within the United States.

Position Overview:

Golf Pride® Grips, #1 golf grip brand worldwide, aims to further strengthen our sales team, and the global brand, with the assistance of an experienced and passionate Global Sales Manager focusing on growth with our OEM partners.

This individual will be responsible for the creation and execution of mutually beneficial business development strategies with our OEM partners around the globe, overseeing a team of regional direct reports. The role reports directly to the Global Head of Sales and will focus on leveraging strategies that: maximize market benefit with our OEM customers, drive incremental growth opportunities, and create collaborative product solutions that differentiate our OEM partners in the marketplace. A primary area of focus for this leader will be to create solutions to accelerate and maximize growth synergies within the customized club build market to ensure the consumer achieves the best club fit possible. Additionally, the incumbent will be tasked with working closely with our innovation and engineering leadership teams to ensure our products offer world class features and quality, while complimenting the overall performance and consumer demand of our OEM partners’ clubs.,

  • Develop and own the long-term strategic plan to drive sustainable growth with our OEM partners.
  • Achieve annual sales targets for the business globally.
  • Create strategies that maximize mutual and sustainable growth with our partners.  
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to establish compelling visual merchandising and promotional tools to drive increased consumer awareness and Golf Pride grip attachment in custom build settings.
  • Provide consistent, timely, and insightful VOC regarding market conditions, competitive implications, and product portfolio opportunities to our innovation team.
  • Deepen our collaborative relationship with key partners to create unique and new-to-world value added solutions for the consumer.
  • Utilize interactive analytics dashboards to generate actionable insights and programs.
  • Partner with SIOP team leads to ensure accurate demand planning, and drive forecast accuracy accountability from your team. 
  • Identify and track pertinent business intelligence elements within the marketplace to drive ongoing SWOT awareness and assessments.
  • Build partnerships internally and externally that support growing the business.
  • Clearly communicate expectations, continually raise the bar, and consistently hold self and employees accountable for performance, such that the team members contribute fully across the enterprise and not just in their specific location.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of five (5) years of sales management and business development experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing a team of direct reports
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future
  • Candidates must be willing to relocate to Pinehurst, NC OR work from a home office in Carlsbad, CA for consideration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in OEM account management
  • Experience working in global markets and customers outside of the US
  • Experience managing a global team
  • Authentic connection to the game of golf
  • Master’s degree in Business, from an accredited institution.
  • 7+ years of Sales Management / Business Development Experience
