Golf Pride® is Proud to Present the 2011 National Coach of the Year Awards

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. …Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today that that Golf Pride, in conjunction with the GCAA, awarded six outstanding collegiate golf coaches the Dave Williams National Coach of the Year Award presented by Eaton, Golf Pride. The awards were presented during the 2011 GCAA National Convention.

NCAA Division I Coach Josh Gregory of Augusta State University, NCAA Division II Coach Jason Owen of the California State University of Monterey Bay, NCAA Division III Coach Dirk Fennie of Greensboro College, NAIA Coach David Lynn of Oklahoma Christian University, NJCAA Division I Coach Mike Hagen of Indian Hills Community College and NJCAA Division II Coach Tom Ferris of John A. Logan College earned coach of the year honors for 2011.

“This year’s Coach of the Year award recipients have all demonstrated the excellence Dave Williams embodied in the University of Houston golf program, evidenced by his record 16 NCAA championships and the innovations and contributions he gave the game as the father of modern college golf.” said Dan Koehler, director of sales and marketing for Eaton’s Golf Grip Division. “Golf Pride is proud to honor and support such an esteemed group of individuals.”
