For every 4 grams heavier your grip is than your current grip, your swing weight decreases 1 point. For every 4 grams lighter your new grip is, your swing weight increases 1 point.

Core size can affect how a grip feels in your hand. Typically, if the core size is smaller than the shaft diameter, it will feel firmer and bigger than its true size.

If you believe your grip has a defect and was purchased directly through golfpride.com or from one of our certified retail locations, please contact golfpridesales@eaton.com with details regarding the quality issue as well as relevant images of the grip - we will open a case to understand the issue. Please note, we cannot guarantee grips purchased from non-authorized retailers such as eBay.

If the grip is branded by your club manufacturer (i.e. Callaway or Titleist), we are not able to sell or provide replacements. You can reach out to the club maker to see if they provide replacements or you can shop our full catalog to find similar products!

Golf Pride’s engineering and innovation teams are very diligent and detail oriented in designing grips. Multiple performance features that include different rubber compounds from one collection to another are what makes up Golf Pride’s assortment. The different materials (cord vs. no cord vs. half cord), gravities, and sizes impact the weight of the grips.

All grips are made to fit different golfer's preferences. While there's no one way to definitively compare one grip to another as every golfer plays different, we love playing corded grips in wet, humid conditions. The ZGrip and MCC collections are great for golfers playing in rain or humindity locations or those that are a little nervous (with sweaty palms) before their shots.

For those with arthritis or joint pain, we suggest sizing up while still ensuring you can confidently hold the club. You may also consider a grip from our CP collection (CPX or CP2).

The best way to tell if grips are fake is by the price; if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Ordering from an authorized retailer or direct from GolfPride.com will help steer you clear of counterfeits. If you believe you have a counterfeit grip, you can submit a form for our team to review.

While we make several products that do not contain latex, Golf Pride grips are made in a facility or on equipment that also uses latex. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are completely free of latex.

Consider weather conditions common to where you play and/or how much your hands perspire. Having a grip that wicks moisture from the grip surface can reducee slilppage which adds confidence and consistency to your game.

Grip material and construction influence the "feel" of the grip and amount of vibration transferred to your hands from ball contact; commonly referred to as shot feedback. Softer grips absorb more vibration, while firm grips provide greater shot feedback.

Grip material and surface design comprise grip texture. The depth and frequency of the pattern influence the amount of traction between your hands and the grip.  Lightly textured grips have a smoother surface and are usually made from softer materials. Grips with a more detailed surface design combined with high traction materials typically have a rougher hand feel.

Tacky grips provide an additional layer of traction that helps boost confidence. High tack grips perform best under dry and moderate weather conditions. They have a greater tendency to slip when wet and may require higher maintenance during your round to keep them performing best.
